G P Roadway Solutions Kona

This past year as our economy continued to struggle, the Kona Branch looked for different avenues of business to increase revenue and profitability.

One of the new products now being offered is a Grease Guard rooftop vent grease trap which prevents grease overflow from ruining rooftops.

Kona also expanded its parking lot and facility outfitting services to include striping, pavement marking, concrete and recycled plastic parking stops, recycled rubber speed humps, and warning devices and signage to comply with requirements for the disabled.

2011 has been a very interesting year for G P Roadway Solutions Maui Branch. We have seen many changes within the business community as well as our own. Our traffic control staff is expected to increase as the economy improves. We continue to be the first choice for all Traffic Control Services for Maui. Our sign shop continues to service the largest annual sign event on Maui which is the Hyundai Golf Championships and most of the major traffic control, regulatory and warning signage on Maui.

Oahu and Kauai Sales & Rentals

Despite the challenging economic times, Oahu and Kauai Sales & Rentals finished the year strong. Oahu ended 2011 with gross revenues at 8% above goal and a net operating income at 14% above goal, and Kauai came in with a whopping 30% above goal with a net operating income of 31% above goal!
One thing learned is that rentals enhance sales, and sales enhance rentals. S&R consistently helps customers decide whether renting or purchasing makes better economic sense for them. Felix Lenchanko, Outside Sales Rep, continues to be our internal experts in helping our customers make the right decision, and happy customers result in more sales. It’s a win-win for all! Similarly, Lei Saio, Operations Supervisor on Kauai, has established strong relationships with the County and the State DOT, as reflected in the island’s year-end numbers.
