Stop oil, sediment, and other debris from entering curb inlets and catch basins

The two openings of a combination street drain—the curb inlet and the street grate—have been a challenge when it comes to creating stormwater management products that protect both openings from pollutants. The Ultra-Drain Guard Curb-Insert Model tackles this challenge head-on.

The system starts with our standard Ultra-Drain Guard and adds additional fabric and a heavy-duty tension rod that keeps the fabric in place to filter pollutants from water flowing into the curb inlet. The standard Ultra-Drain Guard inserted into the catch basin handles the rest.

The “Plus” version of the Ultra-Drain Guard Curb Insert Model further protects the two inlets by using our own Ultra-Filter-Tex material in place of the standard model’s fabric. Both versions filter oil and sediment, but the Ultra-Filter-Tex model captures more oil or other hydrocarbons.
