The G P Roadway Solutions Rental Services department is staffed with Certified Traffic Control personnel that can help you get your street usage permit by drawing traffic control plans. This is just part of the service you receive when you rent equipment or hire us to provide your traffic control services.

We can review your plans to ensure that you get the correct equipment and certified personnel to optimize safety. We will work with you as a partner on your project or event from start to finish.

Traffic control requirements vary greatly. No two traffic control situations are the same. Construction projects, utility maintenance, parades, block parties, and road races all require special consideration. To ensure that workers, motorists or participants are protected requires careful planning, a properly designed traffic control plan, and proper execution of that plan. We have the rental equipment and personnel that will help you meet your traffic safety needs.

To ensure you receive the highest level of traffic control safety, G P Roadway Solutions Rental Services will provide you with ATSSA Certified Flaggers. We go beyond the State of Hawaii requirements and provide you with ATSSA (American Traffic Safety Services Association) Certified Flaggers. Our ATSSA Trained flaggers, meet the same requirements as the rest of the USA training requirements.

We will bring the traffic control equipment to the location of your choice and then return to pick it up when your project is complete. Our vehicles are equipped to safely alert traffic of slow-moving vehicles and allow personnel to reduce exposure to traffic.

We will bring the equipment out and “deliver in place” as directed. We provide this service for all our equipment, such as barricades, cones, portable traffic signals, portable lighting and message boards. At the end of the rental period, we will return to pick up the equipment with vehicles outfitted with warning lights and enough technicians to make the job quick. We are the sports event traffic control services company of choice by the largest events. We work routinely with the Honolulu Marathon, Great Aloha Run, Ironman, Kapalua Marathon and many more to lay out the course prior to the start and then remove the traffic control equipment as the participants progress through the course.

After a traffic control plan has been approved, we can do the complete set up and take down of all necessary equipment as shown in the traffic control plan. If you do not have a traffic control plan, we can help in developing one. Traffic Control Service is typically done for jobs requiring daily set up and take down of the traffic control equipment. We can set up traffic control equipment for long term projects, as well.

If your work requires the traffic control equipment to be repositioned throughout the day, our traffic control technicians stay on site to coordinate this. As your work progresses, we reset the traffic control as needed throughout the day. We also have equipment like beacons, and traffic lights that can be equipped with sensors to monitor traffic and change accordingly.

We have a complete fleet maintenance department that services all our equipment to ensure a trouble-free rental period. Our barricades are serviced once a week while on rent. This service is included in the rental fee. Large equipment, such as floodlights, message boards and arrow boards will be thoroughly tested before long-term (weekly) rental.
