PRODUCT GUIDELINES
Never alter or modify the shell, suspension system, or chin strap. Always use original
replacement parts. Decals/stickers are acceptable if they do not affect a hard hat’s
protective rating or make it difficult to find damage.

Inspect your hard hat shell, suspension, and chin strap on a regular basis. Check for
cracks or faulty parts each time it is to be used. If you notice any sign of damage, the
faulty part should be discarded and immediately replaced.

The service life of a hard hat begins when the hard hat is put into service. Maximum
service life is 5 years for the shell and 1 year for the suspension, beginning immediately
upon first use. If the hard hat has received a considerable strike, it should be replaced
immediately, even if there is no visible damage.

Clean only with mild soap and lukewarm water. DO NOT USE paints, chemicals, gasoline
or similar substances on the hard hat. If these substances are applied on the shell,
its impact resistance and other features could be decreased and could be dangerous
for the user.

Store hard hat in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not store in vehicles where the
interior temperature can become extreme and cause deterioration of the hard hat.
