The GP Roadway Solutions Rental Services department is staffed with Certified Traffic Control Supervisors that can help you get your street usage permit by drawing traffic control plans. This is just part of the service you receive when you rent equipment, or hire us to provide your traffic control requirements.
If you already have your plans and/or permit, we can look over the plans with you to ensure that you get the correct equipment to optimize safety. We will work with you as a partner on your project, or event, from start to finish.
TRAFFIC CONTROL AND FLAGGING SERVICES
Traffic control requirements vary greatly. No two traffic control situations are the same. Construction projects, utility maintenance, parades, block parties, and road races all require special consideration. To ensure that workers, motorists or participants are protected requires careful planning, a properly designed traffic control plan, and proper execution of that plan. We have the rental equipment and personnel that will help you meet your traffic safety needs.

To ensure you receive the highest level of traffic control safety, GP Roadway Solutions Rental Services will provide you with Certified Flaggers. We have on staff an ATSSA (American Traffic Safety Services Association) Certified Flagger Instructor. We provide flagger certification training. Call our sales team for details and schedules.
Delivery and Pick Up
We will bring the traffic control
equipment to the location of your choice and then return to pick
it up when your project is complete.
Set Up and Take Down
We will bring the equipment out and “deliver in place” as directed. We provide this service for all our
equipment, such as flasher barricades, no parking barricades,
portable traffic signals and message boards. At the end of the
rental period, we will return to pick up the equipment.
Traffic Control Services
After a traffic control plan has been
approved, we can do the complete set up and take down of all
necessary equipment as shown in the traffic control plan. If you
do not have a traffic control plan, we can help in developing
one. Traffic Control Service is typically done for jobs requiring
daily set up and take down of the traffic control equipment.
Although, we can set up traffic control equipment for long term
projects, as well.
Traffic Control Service with Monitoring
If your work
requires the traffic control equipment to be repositioned
throughout the day, our traffic control technicians stay on site to
coordinate this. As your work progresses, we reset the traffic
control as needed throughout the day.
Equipment Maintenance
Our rental barricades are serviced
once a week. This service is included in the rental fee. Other
equipment, such as floodlights, message boards and arrow
boards, which are subject to long term (weekly, monthly) special
rates, are the responsibility of the renter to maintain.
