The temporary portable delineator post is a two piece tubular marker consisting of a 42” top tube held in place with a 12 pound rubber base. The correct application of a delineator is as a channelizing device where space does not permit for a more visible device. The delineator is used for many applications other than channelization. Some of these applications include: • Finish chutes at races or walks When used for non-roadway, non-channelization applications, it may be necessary to add a second or third base to a single top tube. This additional ballast will help support the delineator when it has a “load” put on it such as plastic fence or barricade tape. The delineators can be rented as a set (1 base, 1 tube) or as individual components (extra bases or top tubes). |
