Hydraulic shoring is a system of engineered devices that are designed to prevent cave-ins in all but unstable soil conditions, by supporting the side walls of the trench through the use of hydraulic pressure. Hydraulic shores are pressurized utilizing a hand pump that pumps a mixture of water and shoring fluid into the hydraulic shoring device.
