One reflective rail, minimum of 192 square inches, with alternating 4 inch wide at 45 degree orange and white stripes. Rail to be a minimum of 24 inches wide. An additional second, non-reflective, rail may be added for stabilization purposes. Meets the criteria for use on low speed,conventional roads or urban streets. Type 1 barricades are also used for pedestrian traffic control. For Hawaii, the State Department of Transportation has deemed up to 40 M.P.H. as low speed. Type III barricades are primarily used where it is necessary to close a road completely. Typically Type III barricades are positioned across the width of the entire roadway, with little or no space between. When used to close roadways, Type III barricades must also support the appropriate signage. These signs would include, but are not limited to: ROAD CLOSED, DETOUR, LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. When deemed necessary Type III barricades can be outfitted with Type A “warning” flashers.

What is a barricade?	When selecting a barricade light:
A Barricade is a portable or fixed device having from one to three rails with appropriate markings and is used to control road users by closing, restricting, or delineating all or a portion of the right-of-way. Barricades are available with a flasher light, a steady burn light or without a light. The type of light depends on how you are going to use the barricade.
• NO LIGHT: Non-traffic areas, non-hazard areas
• TYPE “A” FLASHER LIGHT: Used for warning, existence of a hazard
• TYPE ”C” STEADY BURN LIGHT: Used for channelization and delineation

Lights can also be rented and mounted on other devices. For example, Type C Steady burn lights can be mounted to concrete barriers or water filled triton barriers. At night this delineates the barriers and guides motorists safely through the work zone.

No Parking barricades come with standard legends, or, can be customized to be date/time specific. Standard legends include:

These No Parking signs are ready to rent anytime.
No Parking barricades also come with or without Type A flasher warning lights. A flasher warning light is recommended in most applications as this helps to draw attention to the no parking barricade. In certain areas, such as public parks, having a flasher light is mandatory.
